Plastic dustbin are a necessity in daily life, regardless of the occasion.
We can categorise plastic dustbin based on their intended use into household dustbin and industrial dustbin.
Household dustbin are classified into three styles: rotating dustbin, pedal dustbin, and simple dustbin(round, square) . These sizes are generally available in 1L, 5L, 10L, 15L, 20L, and 25L .
Industrial dustbin are typically wheeled, because of their large capacity and ease of transport. In general, industrial dustbin come in the following sizes: 20L, 40L, 50L, 60L, 120L, 240L, 360L, 650L, 1000L, and 1100L.
Whether it is a household dustbin or an industrial dustbin, as long as it is a plastic dustbin, it will generally be made of environmentally friendly PP. We can use environmentally friendly PP to create a bright surface, then laminate the printing and other processing to create high-quality, beautiful, and functional plastic dustbin.
However, it is not easy to produce a high quality plastic dustbin, provided that a high quality plastic dustbin mould is manufactured. Plastic dustbin mould production is extremely demanding, from mold design and assembly to runner selection, all of which must be strictly controlled one by one.
Depending on the use scenario (at home or in a factory), the plastic dustbin have to be strong enough. Therefore, when designing and manufacturing molds, it is important to ensure that the plastic products produced can be stacked under weight and will not be bent or deformed.
In addition, according to the specific design requirements of the product, the design of the mold should consider and increase or decrease the reasonable demold draft and make the corresponding anti-deformation treatment; under the condition of ensuring the quality, the rib can be added appropriately, which not only facilitates the release of the mold, but also saves part of the cost; meanwhile, the reasonable and sufficient rounding design is also conducive to the release of the mold and increase the strength.
When we do the design of plastic dustbin mold, we will do the mold flow analysis first, and through the mold flow analysis, we will measure the best gate position and quantity. Then according to this gate position, we will analyze the filling time, flow rate, temperature, pressure, fusion line position and trapped air position of the plastic dustbin mold in the injection process. With these analysis results, the mold design can be well made for a smoother production of the dustbin mould later.
Dustbin moulds generally use hot runner with large gates and multiple pouring points, the location of the gates are on both sides of the bottom center of the dustbin, the distance between the gates is greater than 5cm, the specific location is determined according to the results of the mold flow analysis, the advantage of this design is that the product is formed quickly and the production cycle is short. The disadvantage of multi-point gate is that it is easy to trap air. According to the result of mold flow analysis, we will find out the location where air is easily trapped and design ejectors or inserts to solve the problem.
The dustbin mould adopts oil cylinder to extract core when demoulding, and then adopts pushing plate to eject, and design simple ejecting system as much as possible according to the actual situation, in order to reduce the chance of malfunction.
The cooling problem of dustbin mould is very important, reasonable cooling design can reduce the deformation of the product and shorten the injection cycle. The proper diameter and even arrangement of the waterway can ensure the complete and even cooling of the mold. In the process of processing, because of the large size of the garbage can mold, you need to use deep hole drilling to do the processing, and you need to do the water test after the processing to ensure that every water way is unobstructed.
The difficulty of trash can mold processing is that the height of the mold is relatively high, cnc processing is difficult to complete at one time, because there is no long enough shank, we will divide into two parts to do the processing, part of the cavity body, the upper part of the use of horizontal cnc processing, the second half of the use of vertical cnc processing, so as to shorten the processing cycle, but also to ensure processing accuracy.
When all the parts are processed, then use the mold clamping machine to check whether the assembly of the mold is up to standard. This includes checking the ejector of the ejector pin, the operation of the pushing plate, whether the water circuit is all smooth, whether the hot runner wiring is all connected, the size of the positioning ring and the model of the injection molding machine should be matched, after all these are ready, you can start the injection test of the dustbin mould.
The production of dustbin mould mainly lies in the equipment and production experience, the model of CNC equipment needs to be above 1500x1200mm processing stroke, FOWMOULD has 10 sets of large CNC processing equipment, which can complete the processing of this kind of mold very well, in addition we make 20 pairs of dustbin mould every year to ensure that we have enough experience.
